Teaching English in Japan Info

Why TEFL teaching in Japan is great!

Japanese students have been learning English from as early as the 1600s and although English language classes are mandatory in the Japanese schooling system, many Japanese are thought to need more instruction from native English speaking TEFL teachers.

Demand for TEFL teachers is increasing in Japan with more Japanese needing English speaking skills for international business, studying overseas, and working holidays overseas.

Japan offers TEFL teachers very competitive salaries compared to other Asian countries making them a great destination to earn and save money in the TEFL industry.

Many countries, including Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, have reciprocal working holiday visa agreements with Japan, meaning that you can easily obtain a visa if you are between 18 years old and 30 years old. *Always check with the embassy for currency of information.

Japan is a highly developed country where a beautiful culture and amazing technology intersect, making it a great country to live in.
