A. Unlike teaching English at a school in an English speaking country, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) is a lot less technical. Basically, if you can speak English, you can teach ESL. The countries you are travelling to are generally well versed in English grammar, and reading and writing. What ESL learners need is conversational English practice with native speakers, and this is where you come in as TEFL teacher. You don’t have to be a seasoned teacher with years of experience. You just need the enthusiasm to experience new cultures and pass on the gift of conversational English that you were born into. This is your chance to become an ESL Professional!
